BACKPACK FEEDING PROGRAM FOR SCOTT’S RUN – Wednesday, December 10 at 12:30 pm. Do you want to make a practical, visible difference in the life of a child? Then come help fill weekend backpacks for Mon County students at Scotts Run Settlement House. Every second Wednesday is our turn to help fill bags with shelf-stable, easy to consume food items for over 800 students who would otherwise go hungry from Friday night to Monday breakfast. We begin around 12:30 PM, and the work takes about an hour. Come help somebody-join us at Scotts Run! Cheat Lake location: 750 Fairchance Road Morgantown, WV 26508 – (304) 435-5098.

CHRISTMAS PARADE – Wednesday, December 10. Wesley’s Parade Hospitality Team needs helping hands to distribute beverages (hot coffee, hot cocoa, and water) during the Morgantown Christmas Parade (Downtown Morgantown) on Dec 10th at 6 pm.  Volunteers will need to arrive at the church by 5 pm to prepare beverages. CHIME RECITAL and CHRISTMAS SING-A-LONG – Friday, December 12 at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary. Jesse Ratcliff, carillonneur and native of Hinton, West Virginia will offer a short program that will include familiar Christmas pieces on Wesley’s Chimes as solos interspersed with Christmas song sing-a-longs.  Grab your friends and family and head on over to Wesley UMC to participate in some Christmas fun.  Hope to see you there!

WESLEY BOOK CLUB (next meeting is Tuesday, December 16). Do you like small group gatherings? Do you want to meet and get to know fellow Wesley folks better? Do you hope for a deeper walk with God?
