Saturday, November 29th – Wesley’s Altar Guild will be decorating the church for Christmas on beginning at 9:00 AM. WE NEED YOUR HELP!! There are boxes to carry, trees to set up, ornaments and manger scenes and pine boughs to display. Plan to join in and make this joyous task easier for everyone!
Sunday, November 30th – First Sunday of Advent (8:30 and 11:00 am services). Advent Sunday School for ALL ages begins this day, too, at 9:30 am in the Lecture Room. Join us for a dramatic presentation, singing, crafts, and fellowship.
Sunday, December 7th – Second Sunday of Advent (8:30 and 11:00 am services). Advent Sunday School again for ALL ages at 9:30 am in the Lecture Room.
Sunday, December 14th – Third Sunday of Advent. ONE SERVICE ONLY AT 10:30 AM. Christmas cantata “Is He?” will be presented. An event for the whole family! No Advent Sunday School this day.
Christmas Cookie Exchange! (Sign-ups will be be soon). Looking for a few good bakers for a Wesley Cookie Exchange on Sunday, Dec. 14th. Sign-ups are in the Lecture Room or email Kristi DeLeurere at intrigue329@yahoo.com. A Christmas craft and cookie exchange will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Loft. In addition to a dozen of cookies per each sign-up, we ask all bakers that participate to bring one extra dozen of cookies for Fellowship Time directly following our Christmas Cantata—ONE SERVICE at 10:30 a.m.
Sunday, December 21st – Fourth Sunday of Advent (8:30 and 11:00 am services). Final Advent Sunday School for all ALL ages at 9:30 am in the Lecture Room
Wednesday, December 24th – Christmas Eve Services. 5:30 pm will be the Children’s Service. 7:30 pm will be the Communion and Candlelight Service.
Sunday, December 29th service – Outdoor Service at 10:30 am at Hazel Ruby McQuain Park located downtown. No indoor services at Wesley this day.
