April overflows with celebration, community, and renewed purpose for Wesley UMC. Pastor Martha's message reminds the congregation that God's love is ever-fresh and always available — the original renewable resource — inviting each member into new life this Easter season. It is also a month of meaningful transition, as the church prepares to celebrate Pastor Martha's retirement on June 28 and extends a warm welcome to incoming pastor Rev. Michael Burge.

The sacred rhythm of Holy Week anchors the beginning of the month, with services from Holy Thursday through Easter Sunday. From there, April unfolds with rich opportunities for fellowship and outreach: the Love Your Neighbor International Dinner, the Rise Against Hunger meal-packaging event, Confirmation Sunday, and a free Concert in the Loft by guitarist Damon Buxton.

Wesley's heart for service beats strongly this month, through its partnership with CarePortal for local family support, Rise Against Hunger mission event, and the continuation of faith formation programs for all ages. High school seniors are encouraged to apply for the Thomas C. Stewart Scholarship.

As the alleluias ring out once more, Wesley UMC embraces Easter not as a single day, but as a season, one of resurrection, connection, and faithful response to God's enduring call.
