What is Lent?
Lent is a season of forty days, not counting Sundays, which begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Holy Saturday. Lent is a time of repentance, fasting and preparation for the coming of Easter. It is a time of self-examination and reflection.
Below, you can find resources and information for our celebration of Lent in 2021, beginning Ash Wednesday, February 17 and ending Holy Saturday, April 3.
Lent will begin with an Ash Wednesday service on:
Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.
That service will be offered via Zoom at the link below. If you’d like to participate in the service you can click the link and join us. You can also dial by phone one of the numbers listed and use the included Meeting ID and passcode to join us!
The service will also be offered live via Facebook Live at the same time if you wish to watch and participate in chat with others. You can find that live by visiting our Facebook page.
