 These concerts create a welcoming space for connection\, creativity\, and 
 fellowship while supporting the arts in Morgantown.\n\nJoin us Sunday\, Ju
 ne 14 at 5 p.m. for a concert by Carol Markstrom. \n\nAcross the U.S. to 
 the far north of Alaska and to Europe\, audiences have been entertained by
  Arizona-based Carol Markstrom’s clear\, emotion-filled vocals and songs
  that transport across places\, times\, and people. Her music taps into Fo
 lk\, Americana\, Western Roots\, and Country. Carol is a solid singer-song
 writer consistently releasing original songs including her 5th CD\, Seeker
 s (2025 Album of the Year). \n\nJuniper and Sage and Trickster Wind are tw
 o recently released singles\, along with her latest music video\, Out Here
  in the Sticks. Carol’s ballads and love songs range from whimsical to b
 ittersweet\, and the beauty of places inspires some of her songwriting. In
 digenous peoples and their cultures are important to Carol’s songwriting
  resulting in her being a finalist for Native American Music Awards. Her s
 ongs have been recognized by film festivals\, and have won awards in both 
 Europe and the U.S. Carol’s music is played worldwide frequently chartin
 g in Australia. \n\nShe has been interviewed by DJs across the U.S.\, Euro
